The teenager accused of carrying out a school shooting in Georgia in 2024, is set to be back in court later this month. Colt Gray was 14 years old at the time that he allegedly carried out a shooting at Apalachee High School in Winder.
Four people, two teachers and two students were killed in the shooting. He is expected to take a plea deal and face sentencing, later this month. He's charged with four counts of murder, over two dozen counts of aggravated assault and 18 counts of cruelty to children.
Colt's father, Colin Gray has also been charged with murder, manslaughter and reckless conduct in connection to the shooting. Colin allegedly gave Colt the AR-style rifle that he used during the shooting. Prosecutors say, Colin ignored his son's mental health issues and gave him the gun anyway.
Colt Gray is set to be back in court July 24th. Colin Gray is set to be sentenced at the end of this month.
