The southeast is getting especially into the holiday spirit according to a recent WalletHub study ranking the best cities for Christmas in the US.
Atlanta, Georgia topped the list, ranking especially well in traditions, generosity, and shopping options.
Several Florida cities also ranked in the top 30, followed by several North Carolina cities including Raleigh at 35th, Durham and Greensboro and 37th and 38th respectively, and Charlotte at 47th.
Each of these cities ranked especially well in their generosity around the holiday season.
However, no South Carolina cities were considered large enough to be included in the ranking.
