An Upstate man is dead after a wreck in Spartanburg Tuesday morning. The Spartanburg Police Department responded to a single vehicle crash on Camelot Drive around 2AM.
Major Art Littlejohn says, the driver ran off the road and hit a tree. He also, says upon arrival officers found that part of the car was on fire. The flames were quickly extinguished by the Spartanburg Fire Department.
The driver was pronounced dead on the scene. The Coroner's Office has identified the deceased as , 26 year old Martavius Smith of Spartanburg.
