A Spartanburg man will spend the rest of his life behind bars after sexually assaulting his girlfriend's daughter.
The 7th Circuit Solicitor's Office says 35 year old, Joel Antonio Duran was convicted on two counts of first degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor.
Court records say Duran sexually assaulted repeatedly, with the abuse starting when the victim was six years old. Duran has been sentenced to life in prison without parole.
