Officers responded to the incident late Sunday morning, where Burlington Coat Factory employees told officers they attempted to stop a male and female who attempted to leave with a shopping cart full of unpaid items.
The suspects put the items into a garbage bag and pepper sprayed the employees who approached them before fleeing in a grey or silver sedan.
The female suspect was thin and white with blonde hair and was wearing a facemask, dark jeans, pink shoes and sweater, and a white shirt. The male suspect was white and was wearing a facemask, tan/brown shoes, grey jeans, a black ball cap and hoodie, and a red shirt.
