One person is injured and an investigation is underway after a stabbing incident, Tuesday. The Greenville County Sheriff's Office responded to a reported stabbing at a home on Old Pelzer Rd in Piedmont around 3:15 Tuesday afternoon.
Upon arrival, Deputies found the victim suffering from a stab wound. Lt. Ryan Flood says, an altercation preceded the stabbing and a person of interest has been detained. The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment, there's been update on their condition. The Sheriff's Office says it plans to release more details as new information emerges.
