The South Carolina Attorney General's Office is continuing to crackdown on those that possess and distribute child pornography. Attorney General Alan Wilson has announced charges against another Upstate man in the ongoing battle against the sexual exploitation of children.
62 year old, Matthew Leon Arotin of Pickens is facing 6 counts of 2nd Degree Sexual Exploitation Of A Minor. Investigators say he distributed files that contained images of children being sexually abused. Arotin has a history of this type of behavior after convictions in 2014 and 2016 for similar crimes. Arotin is the 7th Upstate man in the last 3 weeks to be arrested on similar charges.
