A judge has ordered a State Senator to cut ties with a private charter jet company after being sued by a former business partner.
As we previously reported, Senator Josh Kimbrell was accused of scamming the company out of more than 2 million dollars in a lawsuit that was filed earlier this month.
On Tuesday, a judge ordered Kimbrell, his wife and his former banker Thomas Whitaker to surrender all ownership interests and assets affiliated with Exodus Aircraft. That includes surrendering an Embraer Jet, company credit cards and bank accounts.
The suit claims Kimbrell was taking customer payments and diverting them to a shell company he created. Kimbrell posted a response to the lawsuit on social media, calling it a "politically motivated attack".
