A State Senator from the Upstate, who's also running for Governor has been named in a lawsuit. The suit filed against Josh Kimbrell claims that he diverted funds from Exodus Aircraft for his own personal use.
Kimbrell was working as a manager and financier for the charter aircraft company. The litigation claims Kimbrell took payments from customers, he then sent them to a shell company he created and later transferred those funds to his personal accounts.
Kimbrell is accused of diverting more than two million dollars over a period of more than two years.
The suit also claims that Kimbrell's wife and former banker were involved in the scheme. Kimbrell has not issued public comment on the lawsuit.
