The case regarding sexual abuse allegations against Rockstar Cheer is now expected to go to trial sometime next year. A hearing was held Tuesday in a Greenville federal courtroom regarding lawsuits filed against the Upstate based organization.
As we previously reported, allegations surfaced in August of last year accusing Rockstar founder Scott Foster and multiple coaches of sexual abuse. Foster was found dead after taking his own life, after learning he was under investigation.
Since then multiple suits have been filed against Foster and his wife, 9 coaches and multiple groups affiliated with the Rockstar organization.
In court on Tuesday, a federal judge said he expects the case to be tried in court in 2024.
The allegations against Rockstar Cheer date as far back as 2014.
