An Upstate man is back in the area to face charges after investigators say he murdered his girlfriend, last month. As we previously reported, on February 3rd a woman identified as Carolina Hall was killed at a home on Triple Crown Way in Spartanburg.
The suspect fled to New York but was arrested there, February 8th. 37 year old, Juan Canino Tobon was reportedly found in possession of two handguns and had to face charges in New York before being extradited back to the Upstate.
He was transported to Spartanburg County last week and is being held there without bond. Tobon is charged with murder and a weapons violation in connection to the death of Caroline Hall.
