A suspect is in custody after a stabbing in the Upstate over the weekend. The Greenville County Sheriff's Office responded to a reported stabbing around 3 PM Sunday on the 100 block of Conyers Street just off of Highway 276 in Greenville.
Upon arrival, deputies found a male victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. The suspect, 31 year old Kwamez Gilliam was later taken into custody, he was found near where the incident occurred.
Gilliam is charged with attempted murder. The Sheriff's Office says the victim is expected to make a full recovery.
