An arrest has been made after a pedestrian was killed following a hit and run in the Upstate, over the weekend. The Anderson County Coroner's Office says 58 year old, Darryl Scott Barton was killed when he was hit in a crosswalk near Wren High School, Sunday.
The suspect driver reportedly fled the scene. He was later identified as Landon McCorkle. Investigators say McCorkle has been arrested for fatal hit and run, felony DUI, multiple drug crimes and a list of other charges.
