Police in North Georgia are searching for a suspect accused of shooting at police there, over the weekend. The Royston Police Department says officers were working to recover a stolen vehicle, around 7:30 Saturday night.
Police say, a suspect later identified as 19 year old, Dalton Bell fired at officers multiple times. Police say they did not return fire and Bell fled into the woods. Deputies and K-9 units from Hart, Stephens and Franklin Counties were called in to assist with the search.
Bell was able to escape and elude arrest and is still at large, as of the time of this report. A photo of the suspect can be found below.
