A suspect is facing charges after an overdose death last year in Western North Carolina. The McDowell County Sheriff's Office says they launched an investigation after a man fatally overdosed in March of last year.
Investigators say evidence discovered led to the arrest of 48 year old, Christopher Scott Buchanan. He's charged with death by distribution.
Buchanan is being held in McDowell County on a bond of a quarter million dollars.
