A Clover man is facing charges after shots were fired near a gay nightclub in Myrtle Beach. WMBF TV reports that 37 year old Timothy James Truett Jr. was arrested after shots were fired outside the Pulse Ultra nightclub.
Truett is charged with a hate crime, as police say he was trying to intimidate the patrons of the LGBTQ establishment. Truett is charged with hate crime intimidation, shooting into a dwelling, property damage and multiple weapons violations.
Police say that shell casings were found in a car being driven by Truett.
