A suspect is in custody after claiming to have a bomb during a barricaded standoff in the Upstate, last week. The Spartanburg Police Department responded last Wednesday morning to a home on Booker T. Washington drive to serve arrest warrants.
Upon arrival, officers found the suspect 35 year old Jason Glover barricaded upstairs inside the home. Glover refused to surrender and SWAT was called to the scene.
During the standoff, Glover claimed to have a bomb. About 2 hours into the standoff officers entered the home and took Glover into custody.
Glover was wanted for domestic violence, grand larceny and property damage. Police say Glover may face additional charges from the incident.
