
A suspect is in custody after a chase with deputies in Spartanburg County, Thursday. Around 12:30 Thursday afternoon, Deputies from Spartanburg responded to the area of Highway 357 and Gap Creek Road, on a report of a stolen trailer.
The Sheriff's Office says, the victim shot a tire out on the suspect's vehicle and chased him into Greenville County. The suspect, 36 year old Scott Brent Davis of Inman ran into a field after deputies used spike strips to further flatten his tires. A K-9 unit was sent into the field and bit Davis, he was then taken into custody.
Davis faces a dozen charges including his 2nd offense for manufacturing meth, aggravated assault, and receiving stolen goods, among other crimes. The Sheriff's Office says, one deputy suffered minor injuries in the incident.
