An Upstate man is in custody after a standoff with deputies, Thursday. The Union County Sheriff's Office responded to a domestic disturbance on Chapman Road.

Upon arrival, Deputies arrived and spoke to the victim who told them that her boyfriend hit her in the face, pointed a gun at her and threatened to kill her. The suspect, Jimmy William Lee fled the area and his vehicle was spotted by deputies, but they were unable to conduct a traffic stop on him.

Deputies then learned Lee was barricaded inside a camper on Lemonade Road in Spartanburg County. Deputies arrived at that location and Lee refused to come out.

Eventually, a CS Feret barricade round was shot inside the camper, which forced Lee to the door. He was then taken into custody without incident. Lee was booked into the Union County Jail on a charge of aggravated domestic violence.
