A suspect is in custody after a bank robbery in Anderson County, Tuesday afternoon. The Anderson County Sheriff's Office responded after a robbery at Dogwood State Bank on Clemson Boulevard.
A search then ensued and the suspect 44 year old, Brian Humphries of Myrtle Beach was taken into custody. The Sheriff's Office says Humphries had made a hoax call regarding Westside High School to divert deputies.
Humphries is charged with bank robbery, disturbing a school and unlawful use of 911. Counterfeit money was also reportedly found in his hotel room, the Secret Service will be investigation that matter and more charges could be forthcoming.
