An arrest has been made after a shooting in the Upstate earlier this month has now turned fatal. As we previously reported, the Anderson Police Department responded to the area of North Main Street, August 10th.
The victim was found in the road between McDonald's and Waffle House. The victim later identified as 36 year old, Demone Devaux was taken to Anmed Hospital. He died from his injuries, Sunday afternoon.
The suspect Nydriques Cunningham was taken into custody at the Horizon Inn. Cunningham is charged with murder. The incident remains under investigation.
