An Upstate man charged in connection to the murder of four of his relatives is set to be in court Monday and Tuesday. Pre-trial hearings are being held for Ross Vilardi in Anderson County.
He and his wife Amy are accused of killing four of her family members in Pendelton, back in 2015. Investigators described the murder case as one of the most brutal murder scenes they have ever encountered. The case went cold but after it was featured on national television, Amy and Ross Vilardi were arrested 8 years after the murders. T
he couple is being tried separately, Amy was convicted back in February. She was given four life sentences. Ross Vilardi is now set to face trial, more than a decade after the brutal murders.
