The suspect in an Upstate murder-suicide over the weekend has now been identified. As we previously reported, the Anderson County Sheriff's Office responded to a shooting on I-85 near mile marker 39, Saturday.
The incident began in Mauldin where the victim 24 year old, Tayler Gennalee Maraj was kidnapped. Investigators say the suspect stopped the vehicle, then shot the victim and himself.
The Anderson County Coroner's Office has identified the suspect as 38 year old, Nathan Orlando Cureton. The incident remains under investigation.
