5:30 Update:
A wanted Greenville man has been arrested following a standoff that lasted several hours throughout Monday.
The standoff began at roughly 10:00AM when police attempted to arrest an individual with outstanding warrants, but found him barricaded inside a hotel room at the Sunset Inn on Wade Hampton Boulevard.
The suspect, 40-year-old Samual James Taylor, was wanted on three separate arrest warrants and refused to come out of the hotel room he was in.
Two of the warrants were reported to be for Failure to Comply and Failure to Yield for Blue Lights.
Negotiations began around 4PM and lasted for just over half an hour before SWAT forced entry into the hotel room that the suspect was held up in.
A woman and two children were removed from the room, and Taylor was taken into custody by police.

The Greenville Police Department and SWAT are engaged in a standoff at a local motel.
According to the GPD, officers went to Sunset Inn around 10 a.m. to serve a wanted subject on three active warrants.
The subject refused to come out.
It is unknown how many people are with the subject in the barricaded room.
