A former Upstate teacher has been granted bond after being charged with sexually assaulting a teenage boy.
33 year old, Nicole Ballew Callaham was arrested in Anderson County last week on charges of criminal sexual conduct with a minor and contributing to a delinquency of a minor.
Callaham is also facing nearly a dozen similar charges in Greenville County. Callaham has since been fired from her teaching position in Anderson County. Her charges stem from an alleged sexual relationship with a 14 year old boy that reportedly started in 2021.
Her attorney pointed out during her court appearance that Callaham is currently pregnant. He did not clarify whether she is pregnant by her current fiancé or the alleged victim. Her bond has been set at $120,000.
