The GCSO is investigating a shooting after a teenager was shot Sunday evening. Deputies responded to the area of Orlando Avenue around 8:45pm after receiving a call about a gunshot victim.
Deputies discovered a 17-year-old male sustained a gunshot wound and was transported to the hospital. A person of interest has been detained.
The victim is expected to recover. No other details have been released.
