A juvenile suspect is facing charges after a fight at a mall in the Upstate, over the weekend. The Greenville Police Department responded Saturday evening to a reported armed robbery at Haywood Mall.
Police say, no robbery took place, however several juveniles were found fighting outside of the Cheesecake Factory. One of the teenagers was arrested and is charged with assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest, and assault.
The teenager was taken to the DJJ facility in Columbia. A similar incident happened at a Haywood Mall, just a week prior.
