A teenager has been charged following the deadly bicycle collision near Bob Jones University in Greenville, Monday evening.
Police responded around 6:30pm after a late model Ram pick-up truck collided with the bicyclist on North Pleasantburg Drive and Wade Hampton Blvd near campus.
67 year old Bobby Lewis Smith, identified by the Coroner, was taken to the hospital, but died from blunt force trauma injuries.
The 17 year old driver of the Ram pick-up, whose name will not be released because of their age, was arrested and charged with DUI according to Greenville police.
