The fourteen-year-old boy accused of shooting and severely wounding a Seneca man last week now faces trial for murder. The Oconee County Coroner says the victim, 20-year-old Dariean Maurice Tucker, died Tuesday night at Greenville Memorial.
He'd been under intensive care since he was shot April 2nd at house on Enterprise Lane in Seneca. Police had arrested the youngster for attempted murder and possession of a weapon in a violent crime.
The charge is murder now. The teen is at the Juvenile Justice Center in Columbia, his identity withheld because of his age.
