An Upstate Teenager is charged with murder after a deadly weekend shooting. The Cherokee County Coroner's Office says 41 year old, Kirsten Phillips was fatally shot at the Limestone Court Apartments in Gaffney around 1030 PM, Saturday night.
The Gaffney Police Department says a 15 year old boy has been arrested in connection to the shooting. In addition to murder the teen is charged with a weapons violation.
He's being held at Juvenile Justice Facility in Columbia. A hearing will be held to determine if he's going to be tried as an adult.
