An investigation is ongoing after a shooting at an Upstate apartment complex, Thursday evening left a teenager dead. The Greenville County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Crestwood Drive.
Deputies arrived and found a victim suffering from a gunshot wound in the parking lot of the Crestwood Apartments. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. He's been identified as 18 year old, Zaire Davarous Jenkins of Greenville.
His death is being investigated as a murder. No arrests or suspect info has been released, as of the time of this report. Anyone with info on the shooting is urged to contact the Greenville County Sheriff's Office.
