A teenager has been hospitalized and a suspect is in custody after a shooting at an Upstate apartment complex. Spartanburg County Deputies responded to a shooting on College Point Lane, around 1:30, Monday morning.
Upon arrival, deputies found a 16 year old suffering from a gunshot wound. The suspect was identified as 24 year old Ralphion Marque Gooden had fled the scene, he was later taken into custody.
The victim was injured and was taken to Spartanburg Regional, there's been no update on the teen victim's condition. Gooden is charged with attempted murder and a weapons violation.
