A Texas man is behind bars in Anderson County, after he allegedly broke into an ATM in Belton and made off with a large amount of cash.
The Anderson County Sheriff's Office says 44-year-old Marlo Andre Theriot, of Houston, was arrested following a months-long investigation. That came after a February burglary at the Wells Fargo ATM in the parking lot, of a grocery store in Belton. Deputies say the ATM was heavily damaged during the break-in.
On Wednesday, Theriot was extradited from Harris County, Texas, back to the Upstate He's charged with safecracking, grand larceny, and malicious damage to property. He's being held in Anderson County on a $100,000 bond.
