Three people are dead after a wrong way weekend crash on I-85. The three vehicle collision happened on I-85 near mile marker 75 in Spartanburg County, just after 12AM Sunday.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol says a Honda Sedan was driving south in the northbound lanes, when it hit a Toyota Sedan and a Ford SUV. The driver of the Honda and the both the driver of the Toyota and a passenger were pronounced dead at the scene.
Those in the Ford SUV were not injured. The victims have not been publicly identified, as of the time of this report.
This is the latest deadly crash in Spartanburg County, which is leading the state in traffic fatalities.
