Three suspects are facing drug charges after a warrant was served in Western North Carolina, Wednesday. The Rutherford County Sheriff's Office responded to a home in Ellenboro to serve a warrant on 48 year old, Stanley Heath Ledford.
Upon arrival, deputies found multiple people at the house and say they saw drug paraphernalia in plain sight. During a subsequent search of the house deputies found fentanyl, prescription pills, marijuana and digital scales. Ledford was then charged with trafficking fentanyl and multiple other drug crimes.
He was already wanted on a warrant for domestic violence. 45 year old Phillip Ledford was then arrested for maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance. 56 year old Steven Weast was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
