Three people were rescued from flash flooding in Western North Carolina over the weekend. McDowell County Emergency Management says crews responded to incidents of flash flooding around the county, Friday evening.
Three people and their pets were rescued from flood waters on Owl Hollow Road.
Crews responded to other issues caused by the flooding at various locations across McDowell County including Spacious Skies Campground, North Muddy Creek and Young's Fork.
No injuries were reported from any of the incidents.
