We reported on Tuesday, that an Upstate man has been sentenced to prison for his involvement in the events of January 6th at the U.S. Capitol. George Amos Tenney III of Anderson was given a 3 year sentence on charges stemming from the incident. Prosecutors say, Tenney gained entrance to the Capitol building and then opened a door to let the crowd gathered outside in. He also is accused of being in a confrontation with a house staff member.
