On Tuesday afternoon, Speaker Of The U.S. House Kevin McCarthy was voted out. It's the 1st time in history that has happened. U.S. Congressman from the Upstate, William Timmons joined the Charlie James Show Tuesday afternoon to talk about the ousting of Speaker McCarthy and gave his initial reaction.
Timmons talked about how some house Republicans voted with Democrats to get to this result. Timmons says while McCarthy wasn't as conservative as he would like, House Republicans still should have not voted against him.
