A U.S. Congressman from the Upstate has voted in favor of not shutting the government down. 4th District delegate William Timmons released a statement after voting to support the American Relief Act.
Timmons said “It is imperative that we provide President Trump with the maximum amount of leverage possible when he returns to the White House next year. It took us a while to get here, but we were able to provide him with a much-needed runway to get our country back on track.
"I look forward to working with President Trump and our unified Republican government next year to address our national debt and deficit, reduce federal spending, and put America first.”
