Two suspects are in custody following a deadly shooting and high-speed chase in North Carolina. Police say, officers responded to reports of gunfire at a home in Enfield on Wednesday, where two victims were found with gunshot wounds.
The suspects were later spotted driving on I-95, prompting a high-speed chase with Nash County deputies. Authorities say the suspects crashed in the Rocky Mount North Carolina area , and tried to flee on foot. One was found hiding in an attic, the other underneath a mobile home.
22 year old Clarence Dominique Atkins Jr. of Raleigh, and 20 year old Marion Randolph Hodge III of Georgia, are both charged with murder and are being held without bond.
One victim, Myson Jones, died. The other remains hospitalized after surgery.
