Drug traffickers have been known to hide drugs in unlikely places while transporting their product. That was the case over the weekend in North Georgia, as two out of state traffickers were found with a large stash of meth.
The Franklin County Sheriff's Office tried to stop a vehicle around 10PM Saturday night, near Highway 17. The driver refused to stop and a chase ensued.
Deputies used a pit maneuver to end the chase. A search of the vehicle uncovered 5 pounds of meth inside two large pink tumbler cups.
The suspects, Jonathan Andrew Goble and Lacresha Glover both of Kentucky were arrested for trafficking meth and other charges.
