An Upstate Sheriff's Office is investigating after the deaths of two children in separate incidents, in as many days. The Union County Sheriff's Office responded Sunday to a report that a two year old child had died. The toddler was first taken to an area hospital and later died there.
Then the following day, Deputies responded to a report of an unresponsive teenager in the Buffalo Community of Union County. Upon arrival, deputies performed CPR on the 14 year old to no avail and the child was pronounced dead on the scene.
Both incidents are still under investigation and no further information on either death has been released by the Union County Sheriff's Office. The identities of the two children have not been released, as of the time of this report.
