Two dead after separate fatal weekend crashes in the Upstate

Two Upstate men were killed in separate vehicle collisions over the weekend. On Friday, 28 year old Jacob Nathaniel Constance was killed while riding his motorcycle on Hwy 11 in Spartanburg.

Troopers said Constance hit a pick-up truck as it tried to enter Highway 11 from a private drive. The coroner said he was not wearing a helmet and died at the scene.


On Saturday, a man was killed in the parking lot of the Walton Drive Walmart in Gaffney. Around 8pm, Officials said 71 year old Reginald Bruce Inman of Jonesville was making his way to the entrance when he was hit by an SUV.

The Coroner said Inman was trapped under the vehicle before rescue could get to him.  He died at the scene. That crash remains under investigation.
