Police in Asheville are investigation after two separate drive-by shootings. The 1st happened around 1130 PM Thursday night at Maple Crest Apartments.
Officers arrived and found 8 shell casings from two different caliber guns. The suspects had already fled prior to police arriving. Then about 30 minutes later, a 2nd shooting was reported on Edgewood Drive.
Two victims were found there, one was transported to the hospital, the other was treated at the scene. Police have not said whether the two shootings were related.
