Two people from South Carolina have pleaded guilty to a scheme that led to the death of a disabled man.

The U.S. Attorney's Office says 25 year old, Jade Ashlynn Stone and 26 year old, Trysten Anthony Cullon have pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit cyberstalking.

The charges came after the two targeted a mentally disabled man in their scheme. Court records show the two texted family members of the man demanding money.

They threatened if the family didn't pay they would tell the man's employer that he sexually harassed women and paid for sexually charged pictures from them.

Officials say the distress from the threats led to the man committing suicide. Cullon and Stone are set to be sentenced at a later date.
