Two cops in Western North Carolina have been cleared of wrong-doing after a suspect was fatally shot there, earlier this year.
The Buncombe County District Attorney's Office has informed the Asheville Police Department that no charges should be filed in connection to the shooting.
Two Asheville Police officers responded to a report of shots fired in the parking lot of a bar, in July. As officers arrived they found a man shooting a gun near a vehicle. At that point, one of the officers fired and hit the suspect Arturo Castillo-Palomar. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The shooting has been ruled as a justifiable use of force.
