Two Spartanburg County men have been arrested on child sex crime charges. The Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office says Dudley Paul Bishop was arrested after using social media to try and solicit sex from a juvenile.
He's charged with luring a child and criminal solicitation of a minor. The other suspect Theron Robert Littlefield was charged after a search of his home in Lyman uncovered child sex abuse material on his devices, guns and ammo.
Littlefield was prohibited from having guns and ammo due to a prior conviction for domestic violence. Littlefield was in Delaware at the time of the search and was taken into custody there.
He faces 10 counts of criminal sexual exploitation of a minor and weapons violations. Littlefield is being held in Delaware awaiting extradition back to the Upstate.
