One person is dead and another is hospitalized after a two vehicle collision. The crash happened just after 5 PM yesterday evening on Highway 146 near Prince Caldwell Rd about 7 miles north of Woodruff.
Master Trooper Gary Miller of the SCHP says the driver of a moped tried to turn left from Prince Caldwell Road onto Highway 146 and was hit by the driver of a Mercedes SUV. The driver of the SUV was injured and transported to an area hospital, the driver of the moped was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
