A crowd gathered in Charlotte to honor one of the federal agents killed in a shooting there, last month. As we previously reported, more than half a dozen officers were shot and four were killed when they went to apprehend a wanted fugitive, on April 29th.

Yesterday, one of the four killed, U.S. Marshal Tommy Weeks Jr. was memorialized at the Bojangles Coliseum. Weeks had served with the U.S. Marshals for well over a decade and prior to that he spent 8 years with Customs and Border protection.

U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland spoke at the service and North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper was in attendance. Weeks was a Mooresville, North Carolina resident, he's survived by his wife and four children.
