Greenwood Police say, an unborn child has died in a shooting that injured the mother and another man. The shooting happened around 1:30AM Tuesday at the Cardinal Glen Apartments.
Police say, a man and two women were getting into a vehicle when a suspect opened fire on them, with bullets hitting one of the women and the man. Both were taken to a hospital before police arrived. The woman was pregnant and authorities say the unborn child died at the hospital.
Greenwood Police have arrested 21-year-old Javier Williams and charged him with murder. He is currently being held in the Greenwood County Detention Center.
